The Goal:

Design three different styles of a chosen special character.

The Solution:

Maddie decided to design an ampersand.

Challenges Faced:

The hardest part for Maddie was letting go of the pre-conceived notion of what an ampersand “should” look like.
It was a challenge to play and abstract the form.
